Peek-a-boo
It has been a long time since I’ve had to rush Bella to the vet. But, it used to be a common occurance: Walking her down the street and she sneezes green goo everywhere? She has horribly advanced pneumonia. What’s that red ball in her eye? She needs eye surgery immediately. She just had surgery? Her airways will all close and she’ll vomit into her lungs and have to be in ICU for a week. And on and on and on.
So, I’m used to it and wasn’t horribly worried when I went to give her an eyedrop this morning and her face was so swollen that I could barely see her eyes. But, this dog’s luck is such that they’ll tell me that she has had an allergic reaction to air and will need to take five new medicines daily for the rest of her life. Add it to the pile
